So, for hardcore fantasy, I’m always amazed that almost no one seems to know that the big celebration (immediate win party) at the end of the war for Lord of the Rings takes place on the Fields of Cormallen. So, maybe something like Cormalline, if it’s a woman, or even Cor, for short, for a male.

Brock, for the male rogue.

I am offering my top two names that I believe would fit the world of Retha.

Rowen – “Little Red Head” / A type of tree with Red Berries. (Either Gender)
Xandria (zan-dree-uh) – Protector/Defender of Man. I love how different the spelling is and the underline meaning. (Female) (yes, it is my name but it does not change the fact that it is a wonderful name and uncommon)

Konk – Male Rogue, master of dual sword combat, Chaotic Good alignment, kind of a robin hood of sorts type of character, stands up for those who can’t stand up for themselves, regardless of who you are. Was my first character back when World of Warcraft came out. 😀

Another suggestion if these are “player names” and not npc’s is Balzac, name of a city, but also a clever way around naming policies for the immature male player 😉

August 29, 2018 at 11:10 PM UTC

For the fantasy name:

(The name is Japanese and the first part means lord. The second part means fox and refers to Japanese folklore)

For the female scout:

Aurum Panther
(mainly because that’s been my Xbox user name since I was nine years old. At the time, I used the name aurum instead of gold mainly because I thought it sounded cooler :/

Saiya for the Female Scout
Sonata for Female Bard

August 29, 2018 at 07:57 PM UTC

It dawned on me last night while I was trying to go to sleep that “Gregorian Chant” would be a really funny name in a video game (if the late-night humor doesn’t translate, sorry about that).

And since I’m on a musical kick, I’m nominating “Metronome” as an awkward but music-related name for a female bard.

Just a strong male name combo I like

FrigynSkadi- mystic, really fantasy-ish name.
A mash up of three Norse goddesses. Frigga goddess of beauty, love and marriage. Sigyn goddess of loyalty and faith. And Skadi the “snowshoe” goddess; a goddess of winter and hunting in the mountains.
Nicknames can range from something “normal” like Adi or something more silly like Rigy.

MadammeFweeba- Fweeba Wibbith is the name my nephews have me because they could not say ‘Silipa Elizabeth’. I have used it as my name a time or two while gaming because it still makes me smile.

Talamasina – Tongan name of a Princess, kind of translates to ‘story of white ‘ or ‘telling the white’. Could be a fun name for a mystic or a bard.

Mystic – Mnemosyne (it might be slightly easier to drop the first ‘M’) is the Greek Muse of Memory. Mystics are usually seen as people who can understand the future, but I heard it suggested that they can do only because they know and understand the past.

Swordsman: Edmund Ironside; real Anglo-Saxon king, known as the warrior prince. He was really cool, but had a gruesome/humorous end…

Edel E.M.

August 27, 2018 at 06:11 AM UTC

I like The Horse and His Boy too!!! It’s just sad that no one films it bc the Pevensies are only only in one scene! 🙁 it has intrigue, adventure, and a “wilder” Aslan. Sometimes I wonder if it would have been more popular out of the set as a stand alone.
