Happy (early) Valentine’s Day, Champions! Valentine’s Day continues to be one of my favorite holidays–an entire day dedicated to sweets and showing everyone I love how thankful I am? Sign me up!

As is my tradition, I have a brand new coloring book page to share with you. This one features Lis and her mare from my Princess and the Pea novella. (Click here to read the story for free!)

This coloring book page was once again drawn by the lovely @olena_shkavron and I was super excited because this is one of the few coloring pages that features an actual scene (it's when Lis is traveling to Torrens and is getting poured on just like the princess in the original fairy tale story).

I'd also like to plug a few Valentine-ish short stories from the vault. I usually only mention The Love Potion since it is such an obvious good match for this holiday (and it mentions some of the characters from the Princess and the Pea novella)! But did you know I have multiple short stories that gives you a glimpse at the romance going on between the side characters? Here are a few of them for you to enjoy!

I hope you have a wonderful day, Champions, filled with love from all the people you hold dear! (And maybe a few sweets and good books, too!) Thanks for reading!

Merry Christmas Champions! One of the first books I ever published on Amazon was called Life Reader but over the years the book had collected too many reader submitted typo reports so Amazon removed it from their store.

I had originally planned to edit it and publish it again but due to my ongoing health issues I've had to change my plans for future projects and I ultimately decided I will not be editing Life Reader or writing any more books in that world (it is a standalone but I had previously mentioned wanting to write more). Since I won't be editing it that means it won't ever be on Amazon again.

However, it's not all sad news!

I've decided to offer Life Reader for free as a special “thank you” to all my loyal readers who’ve stuck with me all these years. It is available to download from Bookfunnel just like Princess and the Pea, my free novella.

Yes, the book has a lot of errors.

No, I will not be fixing them.

If finding errors in a book bothers you please do not try to read Life Reader.

(This is not me trying to be "fake" modest, it definitely has a lot of errors.)

And to the many Champions who have offered to edit it for me, that is very kind of you to offer but as I already announced it will not be edited.

This book has been a longtime favorite among Champions so I'm very happy I can make it available for everyone to enjoy once again. I hope you enjoy this magical YA Fantasy story!

This version of the book has prettier formatting but other than that it is the exact same as the version that was previously live on Amazon. So if you purchased it back when it was available it is up to you if you want to download this free version or not.

Today I have my traditional Christmas gift for you a little early! (I normally do this for Christmas Eve and Day however due to scheduling conflicts we are doing it a week early)

But even though the dates are a little off I once again have made my novella, Goose Girl (Entwined Tales # 1), free! I love giving gifts in December to the people in my life so please think of this as my gift to you! You can grab Goose Girl for free today through December 21st .

As a royal lady’s maid, Rynn has one task: Escort the princess of Astoria to her intended’s kingdom and return home. Unfortunately for the former goose girl, the princess has other plans.

When her charge flees, Rynn’s not only forced to take the princess’s place, but she must also contend with a spiteful fairy horse, a good dose of political intrigue, and Conrad…the mysterious and all-too observant lord who consumes more of her thoughts than he should.

But with war looming on the horizon, Rynn stands to lose more than her heart. Can she convince the princess to return, end the charade, and make peace between the kingdoms?

More importantly, can she possibly avoid a death sentence when the truth is revealed? Snag a copy for yourself, and pass the news along to anyone you think would enjoy this novella! (Important spoiler for those familiar with the original version of the Goose Girl fairy tale....the horse lives!)

The Goose Girl is part of a series of novellas called the Entwined Tales series and the other stories in the series were written by my fairy tale author pals. Click here to go to the series page and grab the great deals on the rest of the books in the Entwined Tales!
