Myth’s first attempt at matchmaking? Does that mean we get to see more? 🙂

Well, Grygg is still single so maybe…..🤔

This short called to mind Elle’s matchmaking, but Myth is so much better at it even without the advantage of the pair already liking each other! Yay for Wilford!

And yes, Blaise is going to need a level head somewhere or at least someone with the abilities to counteract whatever her latest magical mishap happens to be. Perhaps a lesser elf, perhaps a high elf? They’re coming back, you know! And we do know that high elves have been known to like humans in the past… 😉

That is a good guess. If JunJun and Blaise don’t work out, a high elf of some kind will do quite nicely. 😀

Somewhat off subject but has anyone noticed that this newest addition has a well deserved 4.9 out of 5 stars on Amazon. Amazing job Kitty! The book was absolutely delightful so you deserve as many stars as we can give you. 😃

I also noticed that! I was also impressed how quickly it hit the best seller list! Congratulations, Kitty! This book definitely deserved it: it was such a good one!

I loved this short!!! Arvel is a smooth operator! I agree; I think he is the best at flirting and Myth is so nice and sweet. I love how he takes advantage of her sweetness to make her blush, but he is also so gentle with her so that she is not traumatized by his flirting. I love it! I also loved seeing Wilford getting “set-up.” I hope Blaise and Gregg are not out of the realm of possibility. Considering their personalities, I think they would be a great couple once they got to be friends.

Um, I hate to be the one to point out that while it would be awesomely funny if Gregg and Blaise did become a couple, I don’t think the capital would survive the pairing. Their tendencies to go WAY overboard into their interests would feed into each others and create an even bigger issue if it were only one of them. But then again, watching them being chewed out by Arion and Ben with Tari and Gwyn laughing near by would be great to read too.

I have been assaulted by a niggling question of the love interest for Seer Ringali’s son in book 4. Blaise is learning Elvish, and she didn’t get paired off in this book…?

THAT’S WHAT I’M HOPING TOO!!!!

That was my first thought, actually!

That…. is a really good point. Lets hope we survive if that does happen.

This short was amazing, and I must confess Mythlan continues to surprise me even now. Keep up the awesome work Kitty.

Blaise and Junjun for the next book! The short is amazing. “Supply chain” and “economic curves”…. I never thought I would read those in a matchmaking story.🤣
On a side note, for all his supposed bookish behaviour, Arvel is perhaps the best at flirting out of all your characters (sorry Devin and Fred you are just no match for him).

YES! That was what I was thinking!!!

Ok so I’m going to say this is now my top favourite out of the other two (all awesome) characters are beautiful my goodness loved every moment … I waited till midnight for this book then started to read it took me 7 hours and I’m not sorry for the sleep deprivation, then I went on to read it again after a short nap (laughs like a crazy person) I can’t wait for the next. Thank you kitty

Thank you for that! It was rather delightful :-). Arvel is such a delightful romantic lead when he’s of a mind to be. Must be all that economic training… 😉

I think he must’ve learned some of it from his big brother 😀

This is a really cute short!! I’m glad another one of the Trio of Daftness is no longer single. That just leaves poor, unfortunate Grygg. But, I have a theory that Blaise might be seen again soon in another book…. Until then, all hail Seer Ringali’s son!!

Who is Seer Ringali’s son? I haven’t heard of him before.

Lemon

Seer Ringali’s son is mentioned in Red Rope of Fate.

“He has two children. The eldest is only a few years younger than I am.”

He’s still nameless, yet the discord group (which you should totally join 😉 ) has affectionately dubbed him JunJun!

Okay, all the other JunJun comments make sense now! Thank you for clearing that up!

It does sound like a bunny. Maybe it is the repeating part.

A Matter of Economics

The Prince’s Bargain has launched, so let the celebration begin!

I still want to give you Champions a few days to catch up in case you didn’t have time to read Prince’s Bargain over the weekend, so I won’t make a blog post about it until the end of the week. But, in the meantime, as a huge thank you for such an excellent launch, and to serve as my gratefulness for all the thoughtful, honest reviews you Champions left, I have a short story for you!

It’s called a Matter of Economics (Click Here for the PDF!) and it involves Myth’s first attempt at matchmaking. 😉

I hope you enjoy it–this one was a lot of fun to write!
