Book Databases
There are two different free online book databases (created just for readers!) that I want to tell you about in case you need help filling up your TBR list!
Closed Door Books Database
First up is the Closed Door Romance Database. This book database is limited to closed door books (so none of them have explicit romance scenes) and it also includes content levels for language and violence for each book.
This website just launched in 2026 but it already has over 2,000 books for you to look through! There is an option to pay $5 a month to get access to advanced sorting but you don't need to do that if you just want to sort by genre and one of the many tropes. I highly recommend you check it out!
Book Blush Romance
This one has romance books of all spice levels but every book has the spice level disclosed and it has both trad published books and indie books so there are lots of BookTok popular titles on here. This means it is the perfect tool if you are trying to figure out what the content level is for that super viral book you just heard about.
It also offers browsing by genre and trope and it has about 1,700+ books in the database.
