The ultimate fairy tale for cat lovers, starring a character made well know by the Shrek franchise: Puss in Boots!
In the original story the cat, Puss, was just as amazing as his Shrek version, but his owner is... useless. (If you don't believe me, click here to read my sarcastic summary of French tale told by Charles Perrault.)
It's not as well knows as other fairy tales but but by working with the awesome readers who follow me on social media we managed to come up with a list of suggestions for you!
First up, a quick word about my version of this story:
Puss in Boots - by K. M. Shea - Thrilling fights against bandits, a touching friendship between the female lead + puss the cat, all wrapped into a slow burn sweet romance story. In my adaptation I made some major changes to fix the main human characters and I gave the cat character, Puss, additional magic powers (because if he can talk through the whole fairy tale it is logical he is a magic cat). If you are a cat hater I recommend skipping this one as he plays a major part in this story.
