Managing the Vampire's Mansion Pre-Read Checklist

Are you ready for the new Magiford story launching later this month? It's been two years since the last Magiford book launch so I put together this little guide of helpful or just plain fun things you can do while you wait for the book to release.

If you are confused as to how this new book fits with the other Magiford trilogies check out the updated graphic my team added to the bottom of the existing Timeline blog post.

Warning! The rest of this blog post will have a few tiny spoilers--so if you're the kind of reader who prefers to go into a series totally blind, you might want to skip reading this post! Otherwise, read on!

What to read:

  • The Magiford Supernatural City worldbuilding info blog posts:

  • The more general Magiford Midwest blog posts:

    • Kwik Trip

    • Magiford Midwest Worldbuilding - This new blog post has zero spoilers and is packed with all sorts of information about the part of the USA where Magiford is located. If you aren't familiar with this area this blog post will be super helpful!

  • Hall of Blood and Mercy series - Hazel and Killian don't make an appearance in this book but if it's been awhile since you read their story you should give it a re-read so you can catch the name drops and remind yourself of all the worldbuilding info.

  • You can also re-read the other Magiford trilogies to get ready, but if you have limited reading time my advise is to stick with the Hall of Blood and Mercy series as it will give you the best refresh in the shortest amount of time!

Things to do:

Book Reading Fun:

Do you want to theme your reading time? Then I'd suggest having these things on hand...
