Whispersync Audiobooks 2026

Do you love audiobooks? Do you wish there was a better way to feed your audiobook addiction?

Audible has a program called Whispersync that allows you to buy the audiobook for a discounted price if you own the matching ebook or have the book borrowed via KU!

Whispersync is unfortunately not available in all countries and Audible decides via their own process if an audiobook is eligible or not so it can be tough to track these books down. Since we are celebrating audiobooks this month I want to make it easier for you to find affordable options!

Tip!

If you see an author you like in this list check their other audiobooks too as they might have other Whispersync options. If you aren't sure how to check this I have some helpful screenshots on this other blog post.

Extra Tip!

You can also check out Amazon's Matchmaker page (use a search engine to search for "Amazon Matchmaker" because it doesn't let me link to it). This personalized website will show you all the Kindle books you already own, or currently have borrowed in KU, that are also eligible for a Whispersync audio purchase!

2025 Christmas Giveaway Schedule

Offering some of my books for free for the month of December is one of my favorite yearly traditions but this year it's going to look a little different than normal (in a good way!). Because of that I am announcing the official schedule so you can make sure you don't miss out.

*Life Reader was previously for sale on Amazon but was taken down years ago due to too many error reports. It hasn't been edited, and it won't be edited in the future but I know many of you missed out on reading it or would love to read it again so I'm making it free for any of my Champions who would like to read it. If you want to read it early click here to signup for my Author Newsletter as I will be early releasing it to them on December 4th.

It is time for one of my favorite yearly traditions in the K. M. Shea community! The complete Robyn Hood series (which is two ebooks) are free for you to download right now!

The sale is available from today, through October 30th, so make sure to pick these up NOW if you need to add them to your digital library!

(Normally this sale includes the day of Halloween, but due to some technical stuff behind the scenes we had to schedule it earlier this year. This just means you can't procrastinate this year and you should get it right now!)

Robyn Hood: A Girl’s Tale | Robyn Hood: Fight For Freedom

These books retell the tale of Robin Hood, but if the famed archer was actually a girl called Robyn Hood. Unlike the King Arthur and Her Knights series, there is no time traveling, but the two series have a similar feel, so if you've read the King Arthur series and liked it you should definitely grab these two books while they are free!

I affectionately call this a Trick or Treat situation because the Robyn Hood books are the second and third books I ever wrote, and even though in 2022 they got an edit to fix them up, the story telling isn’t as sharp as my newer books. But despite my greener abilities at the time, Champions have assured me they still love them for my trademark humor and strong female characters, so if you haven’t gotten them yet, now is your chance to try them for free!
