Managing the Vampire's Mansion released on April 24th (click here if you still need to read it) and thanks to all the awesome Champions the reviews have been pouring in on Goodreads and Amazon which means it is time to share the bonus short story with you!

(This short story has SPOILERS for the book so only proceed if you are ok with spoilers!)

I had so much fun writing this short because I could picture it immediately as soon as I started planning the Paragon cameo scene. And on a side note, I hope the longtime Magiford Champions gasped in delight when they realized who had come to visit Algoma.

Don't forget that there are TWO bonus short stories for this book, but you need to be part of my newsletter to get the second one, Managing the Vampire Kinge.

Happy reading!

The third audiobook in the Elves of Lessa series is available to pre-order on Audible! By the time I was writing this third book I had decided to write these fantasy romances with very typical romance tropes hence the boss + employee trope in this story. :)

Because each book in this series is a standalone the audio team and I decided to a different set of narrators for each book. This allowed us to pick people that really match the voices of the main leads and it makes for a really fun experience.

The narrators for The Prince's Bargain were Maria Marquis and Nick Thurston. Maria voices all the scenes that are from Myth's POV and Nick voices the scenes from Arvel's POV.

Not to brag but these two narrators are chef's kiss for these characters! (We always try our best to pick narrators with voices that match the characters but we did a really good job with this duo!) If you own my other audiobooks you might recognize Nick as he also voices the male POV scenes in the Snow Queen saga audiobook and we are very happy to have him back again!

Note that I am planning to eventually write a fourth book to close out this series but with my writing hiatus for health reasons I don't know when I will get to writing that book.

Get Ready for The Prince's Bargain:

Time for another mini-checklist with some suggestions on how to prepare for the new audiobook!

  1. Finish some important paperwork in honor of Myth and all the overworked trade translators!

  2. Visit a library and bask in the glory of being surrounded by thousands of books.

  3. Use the instructions in the Translator Tea blog post to make yourself the perfect audiobook companion beverage.

  4. Work on an Elves of Lessa themed crossword, cryptogram, or puzzle created by the awesome Sheacon planners. You can find link to all of them on the SheaCon page in the Past Blog Posts section.

If you want to know ASAP when a new audiobook is out you can also join my newsletter and signup for the audiobook bonus notifications. My team sends a bonus email to that group as soon as Audible notifies us a new audiobook is live for purchase.

This is old news but now that I finally have a book cover I'm ready to announce that my next book release, Managing the Vampire's Mansion is available for pre-order and it will release on April 24th! Mark your calendars!

Amazon.com | All other Amazon stores Starting over as a house manager in a charming small town sounded perfect. Until my new boss turned out to be a vampire.

After burning myself out at my corporate career, I take a job managing a mansion in a picturesque tourist town to reset my life.

The house is historic. The town is charming. The locals are welcoming. And, as I accidentally discover, my unfairly handsome employer, Beckett Kinge, is a vampire in hiding.

Beckett prefers order, privacy, and absolutely no supernatural mishaps.

Unfortunately for both of us, a rogue vampire is attacking the locals. The same people who have been nothing but nice to me. As attacks escalate and secrets unravel, staying uninvolved is no longer an option.

And somehow the only person who steps up to find the vampire is me—the mansion manager with poor people skills who knows absolutely nothing about supernaturals.

At least… I think I’m the only one working this case. But somewhere between tracking a killer and trying not to die, I realize Beckett isn’t just protecting his secret. He’s protecting me. And that might be far more dangerous for my emotional well-being.

Regardless, the rampaging vamp has to be found, or no one in town will be safe. Not even me.
