Managing the Vampire's Mansion: Available for Pre-Order

This is old news but now that I finally have a book cover I'm ready to announce that my next book release, Managing the Vampire's Mansion is available for pre-order and it will release on April 24th! Mark your calendars!

Beckett prefers order, privacy, and absolutely no supernatural mishaps. 

Unfortunately for both of us, a rogue vampire is attacking the locals. The same people who have been nothing but nice to me. As attacks escalate and secrets unravel, staying uninvolved is no longer an option. 

And somehow the only person who steps up to find the vampire is me—the mansion manager with poor people skills who knows absolutely nothing about supernaturals.  

At least… I think I’m the only one working this case. But somewhere between tracking a killer and trying not to die, I realize Beckett isn’t just protecting his secret. He’s protecting me. And that might be far more dangerous for my emotional well-being.  

Regardless, the rampaging vamp has to be found, or no one in town will be safe. Not even me.

The second audiobook in the Elves of Lessa series is available to pre-order on Audible! This is the book where I tested if I could use the marriage of convenience trope in a fantasy romance! :D

Because each book in this series is a standalone the audio team and I decided to a different set of narrators for each book. This allowed us to pick people that really match the voices of the main leads and it makes for a really fun experience!

The narrators for Royal Magic are Barrie Kealoha and Patrick Zeller. Barrie voices all the scenes that are from Gwendafyn's POV and Patrick voices the scenes from Benjimir's POV.

Red Rope of Fate was originally meant to be a standalone with no more books, but I enjoyed the world so much I decided I had to visit it again, which is where this book came from! I love this couple and I'm so happy they are finally getting their own audiobook.

Note that I am planning to eventually write a fourth book to close out this series but with my writing hiatus for health reasons I don't know when I will get to writing that book.

Get Ready for Royal Magic:

Time for another mini-checklist with some suggestions on how to prepare for the new Royal Magic audiobook!

1. Have breakfast in bed in honor of the scene from the story!

2. Use this Elf name generator website to pick your own elf name!

3. Listen to audio clips of a language you don't know so you can better relate to Gwendafyn's experience as she is suddenly surrounded by people who don't speak the same language as her.

4. Get your body relaxed and ready to read by following along with the Evening Star stretches video on my YouTube channel (this is from the 2023 Sheacon event). These are also what Gwendafyn would do before her training sessions!

The narrators for this new version* are Marissa Parness and Max Newland. Marissa voices all the scenes that are from Tari's POV and Max voices the scenes from Arion's POV and the Trio of Daftness' POV (there aren't very many of them but Max did a great job!).

And the pre-order for the next book in this series, Royal Magic, is already live on Audible! Royal Magic will release on February 20th and the third book in the series will release in late March (the pre-order for The Prince's Bargain should appear the first couple of days in February).

*If you've been a Champion for a long time then you might remember that Red Rope of Fate had a different audiobook several years ago. That audiobook was made as part of a contract deal with an audiobook publisher but the contract ended a couple of years ago which allowed me to hire my own narrators to bring the book to life. If you own this old version of the audiobook on Audible you should reach out to customer service and confirm what will happen to it if you purchase the new version (it is my understanding it will stay as a separate version and won't overwrite the new version but you should double check with Audible).
