Sheacon was a fan led online event which was hosted on a special discord server. The last Sheacon event was in 2024 and due to my health issues I will not be participating in future events. But you can still enjoy a lot of the awesome activities and games from past Sheacons. (Use this Sheacon blog tag to find everything!)

Evening Star Stretches

I recently realized I never made a dedicated blog post to celebrate the Evening Star Stretches from Sheacon 2023! These were designed to mimic the types of stretches Tari and the other Evening Stars from the Elves of Lessa series would need to do to keep their bodies flexible and strong enough to handle their intense training.

This stretch routine was created and led by Sheacon planner Louberry, and in addition to doing the routine as a "live" class during Sheacon she also recorded a session for us to post on Youtube so anyone not on Discord could still participate.

Aldelbert's Glory Stretches

And back for Sheacon 2022 we had a stretch routine based on Aldelbert's Glory Stretches.

Aldelbert is a character from my Snow White retelling, and he’s rather famous among Timeless Fairy Tale Champions for his hybrid yoga/verbal affirmation exercises. I was surprised at the number of people who wanted access to Aldelbert's full stretch routine (which is not something I had created as part of writing the book) but the 2022 Sheacon planners rose to the challenge!

We don't have a recording of the 2022 stretches but we do have coloring book pages featuring a few of Aldelbert's Glory Stretches as demonstrated by Angelique, Princess Snow White, and the Seven Warriors!

These fantastic illustrations are done by Caitlin, you can see her art here on her Instagram page!

Now you, too, can join Aldelbert in his quest to intensify personal glory!

The audio team is hard at work on the Elves of Lessa series and we are finally ready to share an update!

The first big update is that each book in The Elves of Lessa series is going to have it's own set of narrators which will allow us to highlight the different personalities of the main leads for each story.

And yes, they will have dual narration mean there will be a female narrator for the female POV scenes and a male narrator for the male POV scenes. For reference, this is how the Magiford books and the Snow Queen series are narrated.

As long as our current progress continues the first book in the series, Red Rope of Fate, will release the first week of January. I'm hoping to work with Audible to assign a pre-order but we aren't at that point yet.

The other two books in the series will be coming in February and March of 2026 but don't worry, there is still progress being made on them and we are planning that both of those books will have pre-orders as well.

Part of the need to push these audiobooks to 2026 is because me and my team have some fun gifts planned for December (including free ebooks!) so there will be plenty to look forward to before the end of the year.

Reminder that you can always check the Audiobook page on my website for the most up to date list of available audiobooks (my team updates this as soon as we know a book is released on Audible).

Happy Holidays, Champions!

Every December I like to write and share a new short story as a small way for me to say “thank you”. And this year year is no exception! I wrote this story as a thank you to to each and every Champion who has been such a support to me over my writing journey, especially during this year of health issues. I couldn’t have made it without your encouragement!

Christmas Gift

This year’s Christmas Gift/Short Story is from the Elves of Lessa world. It’s been a while since we’ve visited Myth, Tari, and Fyn, so I hope this story makes you laugh. Here it is: Notes on Elves!

This is the first time I’ve written a letters style short story for the Elves of Lessa series, but I’ve already done two of them for The Timeless Fairy Tales series:

  1. Between a Queen and Her Colonel: PDF file

  2. Between a Prince and His Lady: PDF file

I’m curious to hear what you think about this style of short story? (Post in the comments below!) Personally I like them since I get to really let the character’s personalities shine which means I can also bring in the humor in full force, without having to worry about adding to the cannon of the story. (Even with my grids and outlines, I can keep only so much straight!)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Champions.
