It’s out now–to purchase or borrow! That’s right, Trial of Magic (Fairy Tale Enchantress #4) is finally here!

I have been waiting SO LONG for this book, Champions. I’ve been planning it since I released Wild Swans waaaay back in 2014. But!! This book is enormous, clocking in at nearly 193,000 words. That’s about a novella length longer than Reign of Magic. So, pace yourselves! You want to be coherent and awake for the ending, trust me! 😉

In more fun news, I’m holding my usual release celebration (Yay!) but this time it’s a little different! As my thank you for all your honest reviews/ratings as well as your general support for this series, I’ll be releasing a special goodie, and a bonus short story! The special goodie will drop when Trial of Magic reaches about 100 reviews/ratings–that’s across all Amazon stores and including Goodreads reviews! The bonus short story–which is from Clovicus’ point of view–will drop when Trial reaches 200 reviews/ratings! (That might feel like a much higher amount than normal, but since Amazon added the ratings features, there are loads more people leaving ratings, so I fully expect you Champions to unlock both prizes in less than 4 days, hahah)

In continued celebration news, Apprentice of Magic will be on sale for 99 cents for roughly the next two weeks!

If you don’t have a copy of Apprentice of Magic, now is your chance to snatch it up for this discounted price!

Finally, there are a few twists in Trial of Magic, so be careful for spoilers if you haven’t finished the book and you’re looking to join in the facebook/blog/discord discussions! But that covers it all–thanks for reading, Champions, and enjoy!

Trial of Magic is now available on pre-order! The book launches July 30th–so the wait is only a couple days!

Lord Enchanter Evariste has been missing for years. Everyone has given up all hope of finding him—except for Angelique.

Because he dared to befriend her when all other mages scorned her due to her dangerous magic, Angelique is determined to find him—no matter the cost. But as years have passed and she has failed to locate Evariste, she’s forced to realize that he was more than a friend.

Battle weary and sick of politics, Angelique is close to breaking…until she hears a rumor that Evariste was taken north.

To confirm the information, she’ll have to break into a den of black mages, hide her identity, and master her magic—which she fears above all else.

But when she finally finds Evariste, she learns she is woefully unprepared for the enemies that hold him captive.

A huge thank you to my team for making this happen. I really wanted to get it out before Sheacon 2021, and my team pulled everything together. Thank you for your support!

I hope you’re as excited as I am for this book, Champions! I can’t wait to hear what you all think of it! 😉 Until next time, thanks for reading and have a lovely day!

Hello, Champions!

I know you obviously know some of what is going happen in Trial of Magic (I mean, it overlaps with Twelve Dancing Princesses and Snow White, so it’s pretty clear what you can expect). BUT there are a few surprises coming in Trial of Magic, (more than you probably suspect), and it’s been killing me not to share even a hint of them. (Soon, though, you shall all know!)

But there is something I can reveal that is spoiler free–the cover!!

There are a couple of interesting things I want to point out about this cover (again, these are spoiler free so don’t worry).

  1. In the first three books Angelique always has magic swirling around her in a different color, and you’ll notice it’s silver colored for this cover. Pop quiz for you champion: what’s the color of Angelique’s core magic? Yes that’s right, it’s silver! We have seen her reluctantly use her core magic in previous books, and you can expect more situations in this book where she has to use it again.

  2. This is the last cover where Angelique will be wearing her fancy color changing dress. (Not because the dress is ruined in this story or anything, so stop panicking.)

Finally, I have some good news to share! It looks like we’re on schedule for a July 30th release date! I’m not sure yet if we’ll have enough time to have a pre-order because this is a TIGHT deadline, but I feel fairly comfortable saying that the book will be released then. 🙂

Thanks for reading, and have an incredible day!
