SO MANY exciting audio book updates today!

First of all, after a very looong wait, The Queen’s Crown is finally available on Audible! Once again this book was narrated by the combined talent of Avery Caris and Charlie Thurston. I hope you enjoy it!

I do want to acknowledge that this book was significantly delayed compared to the first two books, but unfortunately there wasn’t anything I could do about it. The first two books of the Court of Midnight and Deception series have been available for weeks but I can’t control how quickly Audible’s review process finishes, and they told me they were extra busy right now when I reached out to them. 🙁 But I’m glad it’s finally ready! If you were waiting for the final book go and get it!

Court of Midnight Audiobook

The other update for the Court of Midnight and Deception series is that the issue with Crown of Shadows chapter eight (5 minutes of junk audio at the end) has been resolved, and you can now get the clean version on Amazon. If you delete the book from your device and redownload it from the store you will get the correct version. Special thanks to the Champions who helped me test this out to confirm we could get the new version!

Snow Queen Saga

Last, but definitely not least, I am happy to announce that you can also get the complete Snow Queen series as one single audio book download! All three books are narrated by the wonderful Courtney Patterson and Nick Thurston. Get The Snow Queen: The Complete Saga audio book.

This is the first audio boxset I’m releasing so I’m interested in what you think (please comment below if you liked this!). If this is well received there might be more audio boxsets coming in the future!

I’m also interested in hearing about what you think of the narrators! I’ve selected different narrators for each of my audio book projects so far – do you have a favorite? Do you like the two narrator style I’ve been using or do you prefer a single narrator through the whole book?

The sale for The Snow Queen: The Complete Saga is still going on (99 cents for the whole series!) and I wanted to make sure you were aware of all the freebies/extras I have for this series!

First up, the bonus short story! The boxset has most of the Snow Queen related short stories I have written, but there is one story, The Robber Maiden, that you can only find on the Fairy Tale Freebies page. It is from Phile’s point of view and it gives you a glimpse into what she was up to before she joined Rakel’s crew.

The Fairy Tale Freebies page has a few more Snow Queen related things you should check out:

  1. The Maps section has a map of Verglas from the time after the end of the series.

  2. The Character Interviews section has appearances from Rakel and Farrin in the 2019 Heroine Pool and the 2018 Hero poll respectively.

  3. If you’ve already read the Timeless Fairy Tales series (or if you don’t mind massive spoilers!) the Series Timelines may be useful to make sense of how everything fits together.

I’ve also picked out a few of my old blog posts that I think you will like! If you’d like to hear my sarcastic overview of the original fairy tale, The Snow Queen, by Hans Christian Andersen check out this blog post. And if you’d like to read more about how the characters in my series compare to the original fairy tale, take a look at this blog post.

Snow Queen Complete Saga

P.S. One more extra I think you’ll love is all the quote images on the Snow Queen Pinterest board. Admittedly, most of them are Phile quotes (she has some of the best lines after all!) but you will see some from other characters including some of my favorite Rakel quotes from Sacrifice.

Exciting news, Champions! The Snow Queen: The Complete Saga is on sale for 99 cents!

Snow Queen Saga Limited Sale

Rakel is a princess who should have been queen.

Instead, she has spent most of her life exiled on a barren mountain, shunned for possessing magic. Everything changes when an army of magic users invades her home country, bringing cruelty and darkness in their wake.

Rakel refuses to watch as the people who’ve scorned her are attacked, imprisoned, and even killed by the invading army. Swallowing her fear, she joins forces with her jailers and uses her magic in a way she never anticipated: on the battlefield.

But one of the invading colonels is different.

When enemy Colonel Farrin Graydim meets Rakel he is immediately intrigued by her. Her harsh rejection of an offer to join their cause only deepens his interest. He admires her unflinching strength, but his bloody past makes him unworthy to stand beside the purity of her ice and snow.

Can Rakel defeat the invasion and free not only her people, but Farrin as well? For if her magic cannot defend her homeland, all is lost.

If you haven’t grabbed this series yet, get it now! (I probably won’t put this series on sale like this for a year or two.) And if you have any friends/family members that you think would enjoy this series, be sure to tell them!

Thank you so much for your support, Champions. Enjoy the series!
