Today I made the unfortunate discovery that I froze a bunch of the molasses cookies I made with my mother roughly a month ago. I say unfortunate because I just scarfed down several of those cookies, and now I’m starting to regret my greed. Not to self: I no longer have the ability to eat a meal consisting entirely of desserts.

Perfect Dog is doing the bathroom dance, so I’m going to make this quick! I finished the first round of editing The Wild Swans. I start the second round tomorrow.

As for your CHAMPIONS CHOICE update:

  1. Life Reader: 11 votes

  2. My Life at the MBRC 16 votes

  3. Red Rope of Fate 6 votes

Voting is open until April 3.

Perfect dog says “GET OFF THE COMPUTER NOW AND TAKE ME TO THE LITTLE GIRL’S ROOM,” so I shall end it here. Thanks for reading, Champions. Until Friday!

This is a pretty accurate depiction of how I feel right now. I can’t believe it but I haven’t finished Wild Swans yet!! The good news is that all that is left is the epilog. I should finish tomorrow or on Friday. It’s not that I’ve been slacking or anything, it’s that this story is turning out to be much longer than I expected.

Like, we’re talking about 50 pages longer. So, really this is an occasion for a celebration because 1) the book is–I promise–almost finished and 2) it’s going to be longer, which is something the majority of my readers seem to long for.

Unfortunately this means that I’ve used my entire daily quota of somewhat-intelligent-things-to-say in my writing, so I’m tapped out at this moment. I will post on Friday to let you know how the epilogs go. I do think that everyone who enjoyed B&B will like Wild Swans, they might even possibly like it more. It is much more of a plot heavy book, there are more light hearted moments, and it has more character development than you can shake a stick at. (All the FEELINGS! It hurts me!!!)

Alright. I’m going to go sit in a corner and lean against it for moral support. Until Friday, Champions!

I am SO CLOSE to finishing The Wild Swans. I know I said that last time, but today I get to write the plot climax, and I’m hoping to finish up the story by next week Tuesday. The good news is after I finish it I will  start writing real blog posts. The bad news is the editing process will most likely take as long as the actual writing of the book took.

Even so, I have fun things planned for March, Champions. Stay tuned because your input will  be required!

In light of the fact that I will probably be writing/smashing keys on my keyboard in a caffeine induced haze, it is safe to bet I won’t post on Monday. I will, however, post the day I finish the first Wild Swans draft, so you should still hear from me early next week. Until I can  report in next, take care and party on, Champions!
