It’s party time, Champions!

King’s Shadow is out, and I’m so grateful and happy for all the support and love you’re showering on this book! I’m SO glad you’re all enjoying it. (I am especially pleased to see you’re enjoying Aristide’s zingers and French Fry’s…French-Fry-ness!)

To celebrate this amazing launch–and as my thank you for King’s Shadow getting over 100 reviews across the various amazon stores and good reads–I have a free short story I wrote: A Clocktower meeting: Click Here for the PDF!

Magiford Short Story promo image - A Clocktower Meeting

I’m mega excited to share this short as it gives you a glimpse of some of our favorite Magiford Heroines/Heroes. Timeline wise, it takes place before Chloe’s series and before the epilogue of Fated, Pip’s final book. I hope it makes you laugh! Spoiler warning, this short has spoilers for King’s Captive (book 1 of Chloe’s series) in that it is about side characters from her trilogy.

I wanted to end this post with a huge thank you for your support, not just for Chloe’s trilogy, but for the continued grace you Champions have extended to me.

King’s Captive and King’s Shadow have been the most chaotic and crazy launches I’ve had in terms of getting information to you. Earlier this week I shared the wrong launch date for King’s Queen over on Facebook, I actually forgot that I hadn’t finished writing this short until Thursday morning–it’s been a bit of a mess.

Thank you so much for your kindness and patience with all of these bumps in the road. I’m SO grateful that you’re all taking my mix ups in stride and clear things up for each other. And also please let me assure those of you who I can feel giving me the side eye right now, my health really is getting better. The chaos is a result of me using every available brain cell I have to write King’s Queen so my brain is gelatinous after I finish writing for the day. 😉 I really am getting slow but steady progress!

Once again, I hope you enjoy the short, thank you for your support, and thank you for reading!

As I’m sure many of you know, King’s Shadow is available for preorder, and is releasing in a few days on January 13th! What’s even more exciting, though is we finally have a description! (IMPORTANT: This description contains SPOILERS for book 1, King’s Captive! If you haven’t read it yet, you’ll want to skip reading this description!)

I just spent the last month pretending to be the pet cat of an elf king. Today, I discovered we’re enemies.

In a supernatural society filled with vampires, werewolves, and wizards, I’ve always been an outcast with my ability to turn into a housecat. No one knew what I was.

Turns out, I’m a shadow—a race of supernaturals that were wiped out by the elves centuries ago.

Who explains this to me? Noctus, the elf king I’ve been staying with while pretending to be his pet “cat,” not knowing I’m the archenemy of his people. Talk about the most awkward ancestry results ever.

Now I’m stuck staying with Noctus because he can’t let me go thanks to all of his secrets I unwillingly learned as a cat. At least he hasn’t killed me.

Yet.

If that isn’t bad enough, I’m being tracked by a creep obsessed with killing me because I’m a shadow, and he doesn’t mind doling out collateral damage during the hunt.

So I’ve got a mysterious elf king holding me captive in his hidden home, a slew of new powers to learn with my revealed ancestry, and a psychopath on my tail. Wow, things are looking up.

It’s time to find out if cats really do always land on their paws.

It’s 2023, a brand new year that’s waiting to be filled with fun new experiences and memories! I am SO GLAD to slam the door on 2022 and lock it for good measure. Here’s hoping that 2023 is more enjoyable!

But with the fun of Christmas over, that means it’s officially Magiford Supernatural City time as Chloe’s trilogy–Gate of Myth and Power–is getting released. Book 2 is releasing in a week, but we’re starting the celebration now with a massive Pack of Dawn and Destiny sale!

Today through January 9th, Hunted (book 1) is free and United (book 2) is discounted to 99 cents!

Pack of Dawn and Destiny series

If you haven’t read this series yet (or if you read it through Kindle Unlimited) now the time to grab these books at a huge discount. This series is also perfect for binging in a long weekend making it a great winter time read.

If werewolves aren’t normally your favorite paranormal then don’t worry as my own dog (Perfect Dog!) had a lot more influence then I even realized when I was writing these books, which is why my werewolves kick butt, but also love cuddles and playing.

Here’s the description from the first book if you want to know more about what this series is like:

Ever feel like you don’t belong? Try being a hunter living with werewolves. I’m the definition of “doesn’t fit in”.  I’m not Pack, but I’m not the enemy, either.

I struggle to survive among werewolves who are stronger and faster than me, and are competitive enough to break a bone or two for the sake of “fun.”

Greyson, their alpha, is the worst of them all.

Blatantly relentless and twice as deadly, Greyson rules the Pack and expands its territory even though it’s already the largest in the region. I just wish he’d stop interfering with my life. He’s got enough trouble of his own with his incomplete mate bond, but he’s made it his hobby to tease and test me at every opportunity.

Doesn’t my life sound fun?

When wolves from surrounding packs start mindlessly attacking the innocent humans in our city, Timber Ridge, everything changes.

Werewolves don’t turn feral without reason. Which means someone is making this happen, and they’re targeting our Pack.

I don’t like where this is going, but how am I supposed to stop a feral wolf outbreak when I’m just one hunter? Can Greyson and I set aside our differences to see the Pack through this?

Tell any friends/family who you think might be interested in trying Pip’s story! In the meantime, thanks for reading, Champions, and welcome to 2023!
