SheaCon is over and one of the updates I gave during my panel was all about audiobooks so now it's time to share the news with you!

Everyone has been patiently waiting for an update on the audiobooks for the latest two Magiford series and I finally have some information to share!

ree

The Gate of Myth and Power series has previously been delayed due to one of the narrators. But it now is receiving slow but forward progress and I am hopeful the first book will be ready in time for Christmas! I realize December is a long time away, but these are very loooong books so even though progress is being made it will still take a long time to finish them. I will keep you updated as the project continues.

Narration is wrapping up on the Magic on Main Street series and you can expect to see the first audiobook, The Lies of Vampires and Slayers, by the end of August (assuming Audible doesn't take extra long to review it, which sometimes happens). Books two and three will be released shortly that so you can start saving up your Audible credits now if you are planning to grab these as soon as they are out. The audio team members have been loving Considine's POV scenes and we can't wait for you to hear it too!

For other audiobook updates:

  • My audio team will continue to work on projects during my book hiatus! Once we have these two Magiford series finished we will start work on the three Elves of Lessa series books. (The Retha and Angelique's series will not be started with audio until those series are finished.)

  • You can find the new audio short stories on my YouTube channel, including an awesome King Arthur and Her Knights short that was narrated by the series narrator!

  • Pro Tip: If you own an ebook check and see if you can buy the related audiobook at a steep discount using Whispersync. This option is controlled by Audible and isn't available for every audiobook but it's an affordable way to grab the narrated audio version as well!

Greetings, Champions! The Order of Blood and Ruin is officially released! Did you read it yet? I’m bringing back the tradition of a Spoiler Post because I want to give you blog-reading Champions a place to voice your reading thoughts during this initial book launch so please talk away! Warning: If you haven’t gotten a chance to read The Order of Blood and Ruin, book 3 in the Magic on Main Street series, then I’d suggest waiting before you check out the rest of the post or read the comments, or you’ll spoil the story for yourself!

As usual, I’ve will be writing short story as my “thank you” for the launch of this new book and for it reaching 100 reviews–that’s 100 honest reviews pooling from Goodreads and all the Amazon stores! Speaking as a reader, honest reviews can help readers decide if a book is the type of story they want to try. Reviews and ratings are a big deal for authors and I’m so thankful that you’re willing to spend your time leaving a review–which is why I’m happy to write the shorts! I'm really excited for your to see the bonus short and I'll be watching to release it as soon as we hit the 100 mark. But until then, let’s talk spoilers!

So, Champions, now that the series is over, I'm curious to know what your thoughts are on the Task Force, Killian's siblings, or slayers in general? What was your favorite scene in the series? Or what was your favorite Jade + Considine scene?

The final book in the Magic on Main Street trilogy, The Games of Enemies and Allies is available for preorder, and is releasing in a few days on April 5th! And for today's news I have the book description I get to share with you! (IMPORTANT: This description contains SPOILERS for the previous book in the series! If you haven’t started reading this series yet, you’ll want to skip reading this description!) What else is coming this week? There is not going to be a Spot It! tracker for this story because there aren't any new cameos to watch for. But I am definitely bringing back this game for future series as it was so much fun! I’ll also be publishing a new Book Spoilers blog post so you can discuss the book and all your theories with other Champions right here on the website. Or if you prefer, you can join the conversation on Discord or Facebook. And I am once again going to be offering a bonus short story when we get 100 honest reviews across Goodreads + Amazon for The Games of Enemies and Allies. Thank you in advance for every Champion who leaves a review on Goodreads or Amazon, I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with other readers. 😍 The last two book releases reached the 100 threshold in record time, and I'm hoping we have a similar response this time because I am sooo excited for you to read this short story - it was a ton of fun for me to write.

Amazon.com  |  All other Amazon storesThey used to be enemies. Now they’re partners. I never imagined Considine Maledictus—one of the most powerful vampires alive—would go from ruling the streets at night to joining the supernatural task force just to become my partner, but here we are. Considine claims he “fancies” me. He also used to hide his identity and pose as my charming next-door neighbor, so forgive me if I don’t believe him. As bad as that is, my work life is worse. My slayer identity—kept a secret since a lone slayer is an easy target—has been leaked by a suspect from a previous case. This brings a new level of danger to my job, especially since the suspect is obviously holding a grudge against me. But I’m more worried about my city. Bad things are going down, and whatever is stirring in the shadows is more than I can handle alone. Can I trust Considine to watch my back when he used to be the biggest threat to my life? And why is it that despite everything that has happened, a part of me wonders if it’s possible for a slayer and vampire to be together…
